### Highlights
In 2018, under a grant for public engagement from the Wellcome Trust, UK, the Janakpur Center for Women partnered with University College London’s Institute for Global Health and HERD International. The grant opened up opportunities for traditional art skills to be matched with an effort to address diabetes, one of the biggest health problems in Nepal.
