> Art making assists in recovery from disaster.
Arts and culture play a vital role in helping communities recover from disasters by promoting psychological wellbeing and social connections. Studies show that creative activities can provide a low-cost means of support during recovery and preparedness phases. Understanding and integrating these arts-based approaches into disaster management can enhance resilience and address social injustices.
