Throughout her career, Dr. Hijjawi-Qaddumi held various prestigious positions, including curator at the Islamic Art Museum in Kuwait, researcher at the Kuwait National Museum, and founder of the Department of Research and Cultural Studies at the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters in Kuwait. Her passion for preserving and promoting traditional crafts led her to become deeply involved with the World Crafts Council, where she made significant contributions to the growth of programs such as the World Craft Cities initiative and the Award of Excellence.
