She has worked as a project associate at IIT, Roorkee on a research project by the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS), and worked on the conservation of traditional knowledge systems of craft with local community of Uttarakhand, India. She has done a diploma in Youth development and social change from TISS, Mumbai under a lifelong learning program. She is actively working in the Kumaon region through her initiative Ahsaas. She has been part of the India and Bharat Together foundation and People for Himalayan development that are working in the Western Himalayan region. Her interest area lies in the study of the Himalayan region with a focus on traditional craft and vernacular architecture.
