Beyond Jewish and Arab artists from Israel and around the world that the Gallery promotes, the importance of empowering the local community is at the forefront of its mind. Therefore, the Gallery devotes resources to promoting the status of women by offering local women a unique opportunity to participate in professional ceramic workshops to learn a new skill and empower them by creating pathways to employment. The ceramic workshop is held and guided by the international ceramicist Rina Peleg, who established her studio at the Gallery and reaches world wide professional achievements both on a personal level and in the success of the women she guides.
